What rights do you have?
You are entitled at any time to demand that YourMediCall gUG provide you with information about the data stored about you.
In addition, you have the right to correct incorrect data, to restrict the processing of data that has been processed too extensively and to delete personal data that has been processed unlawfully or stored for too long (insofar as this does not conflict with any legal obligation to retain data and no other reasons pursuant to Art. 17 (3) GDPR). In addition, you have the right to the transfer of all data you have provided to us in a common file format (right to data portability), insofar as you have provided the data to us within the scope of a declaration of consent or for the performance of a contract.
Insofar as you also have a right to object to individual procedures, this will be dealt with as part of the description of the individual procedures. To exercise your rights, you can contact us using the contact details above. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.
Voluntary nature of the data provided
The provision of your personal data is basically voluntary. However, to use our platform, it is mandatory to process certain data about you.
What data do we collect from you?
To provide advice, we collect the following data from you in particular:
- Last name, first name
- Date of birth
- E-mail address
- Current location (country)
- IP address
In addition, there is the possibility to provide voluntary information:
- Salutation
- Street, postcode, city
- Health data (for questions asked by mail)
Purpose of the collection, use and disclosure of your data
We use your data for the procurement of a consultant. For this purpose, the data will be forwarded to the selected consultant for the purpose of making an appointment or consultation. The advisor may be located outside the EU/EEA at the time.
We have external service providers for the provision of the platform, but they are contractually obliged to handle your data with particular sensitivity, insofar as they have access to the data. The contracts also prohibit the external service providers from using your data for their own purposes. Your data will be processed exclusively in Germany or countries within the EU/EEA. Should we exceptionally commission service providers outside the EU/EEA to process your personal data, this will only be done if the required appropriate level of data protection has been established beforehand.
Legal basis
Personal data is regularly processed based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. According to this, personal data can be processed if the data subject has consented to the processing. The consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. To do so, please write by mail or email to YourMediCall.
Deletion of data
We delete the collected data after the purpose for storing it has ceased to exist, or restrict the processing insofar as statutory retention obligations exist. The regular deletion period is 12 months after the respective use of the platform; longer in case of cause. Log data of the web servers are deleted in accordance with the recommendations of the Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) on data security after 12 months.
